I purchased this induction cooktop on end 2012 through snapdeal. However it started giving problems within a span of 4 months. At the time of purchase I made confirmed that a service center is available at our city, however during time of need they informed that service center at our city has closed & no service is available in the city, the nearest service center is . I was in a soup almost 90 kms away from our city. Hence, I gave it to the local technician for repair of the cooktop, who informed me that some spares needs to be replaced which is not readily available. Thereafter I visited another technician who was also of the same opinion. Thereafter, I cooktop was dumped at our store room. Recently I exchanged it with a new prestige cooktop. It was a sheer waster of money for me. So before buying any philips product be sure, double sure about availability of service at your location and the nearest alternate location, as service centre availability is a major issue of this company,
