I purchased HL 1632 barely month ago ( Shelling lot of money). I expected a better product because it is from Philips. Last week when I was using juicing papaya, one of the bottom rivets which of the motor unit few into the jar bottom and with crackling noise, it went off. One more week today and the motor is conked out . I sparsely use this product that too for juicing. I wonder what would have happened if I really used the grinder. The service centers are pretty much scattered in corners of the city and not easily accessible. Now I am thinking why I did choose this product.
Maybe because I was lured into buying this because it was on discount. The dry grinder is so small that even for one serving of masala you have to use it in batches. I tried calling couple of numbers from the list of service brochure but no response. I then tried to locate a service center using their web site. When I entered the model number it simply says - no dealer found.
Looks like I bought some product which is sunsetting.
