Philips is just hype and hoopla but offers Chinese 3rd quality at European price.I had brought one HL1643 for 3895 after consulting shopkeepers which turned to be my worst nightmare.The lid of the Jar cracked in 3 days time and within 3 months the Body started developing cracks and the worst of it was following up Multisales in Pune which just dillydallied for 2 months then after 21 days of continuous followup with Philips and a lot of painstaking efforts in which none of them actually cared or called back somehow got the Replacement.A common man could have never got this replacement for sure.
I owned a Braun( German) for 9 years a Kenstar which lasted 8 years developed cracks after 7 yrs and Philips which developed problems in 3 months.
Philips is now more like Marwadi mentality company providing low quality at high price.
