Philips HL1628 - looks similar to HL 1616

My old Sumeet lasted for more than 12 years and it gave me excellent service till it broke down. When I went to buy a new mixie I made a mistake of buying a Butterfly mixie, which broke down within a year. After my several attempts to restore it proved futile I decided to play safe and went for a Sumeet. But this machine was no match for my old Sumeet and caused untold misery in my kitchen. My kitchen walls were splashed with tomato pulp, masalas and what not.

And then after much deliberation and careful consideration I finally bought my Philips HL 1628 mixer grinder 5 years back and ever since there has been peace in my kitchen- no more splashes. It is much better than even my old Sumeet. It is a sturdy machine and I think it is the best one available in the Indian market today.

I would strongly advice anyone looking for a mixie to opt for Philips HL1628 mixer grinder. I’m sure you would be fully satisfied too. If you find the lids too tight they can be easily opened using the plastic spatula provided along with the mixie.
