The speakers work great. Bass is Ok. treble not present but rendering of high frequencies OK . Mid-range specially female voice is somewhat louder than they should be, and there is no option to control(eg. Treble control). This is based on my comparison with other Costly Products. But Definitely Philips MMS4040F is Winner because of cost factor( comparison of performance with cost) Usb is an advantage . Fm is great Option that this speaker offers.
though equalizer is an option but its use largely depends on personal preference, to me NORMAL is just good and is my preference for all kind of music. For TV, radio etc is non - functional . The box or brochure should contain the country of manufacture/assembled for transparency and info to the customer. A good product to buy.
