I dont understand how these people ended up saying "clarity like a 2000 INR headphone". Its totally absurd!
This headphone delivers according to its price.(Its a pretty cheap one so keep that in mind)
Im a Music Producer myself, I get to deal with sounds everyday. I recommend this headphones only for:
-Casual music listening.
-Watching movies.
-Playing games.
All these if youre on a budget.
If you wanna use these for your home studio, then I would say look elsewhere.
If you like to enjoy details when youre listening to music then this one is not for you. Add a few hundred Rupees more and you can get better ones but for casual stuff, this will do without any problem. However, on the down-side is the Loudness. Its relatively lower than the other headphones but anyway, you can increase the Volume from your Windows/Mac/Linux.
-The MIDs reproduction is a bit of a concern, It pretty much overpowers everything in the audio. You can cut the mids from the EQ, though.
-Yes, the BASS exists and its exactly like it should sound. Not more, not less. Dont expect very low bass from this! You will notice the very low bass but you WONT enjoy it.
-Another downer is the HIGHs, Its pretty low. You can raise the highs in the EQ.
If youre really on a budget and cant afford the expensive ones. then you can install this program "DFX Audio Enhancer" and change the "Dynamic Boost" to 2 and "Hyperbass" to 1 while selecting the Processing Mode to "Music Type II" with "Fidelity" and "Ambience" to 3. and then increase the volume from your Volume Control according to your liking.
.and Now youve got a pretty decent headphone!(DFX only enhances Movies and Music)
Even without DFX, you can hear every instrument clearly but not the way how the artist intended. So, this headphone+ DFX seems like a pretty good combination.
To make it simple. Its an ABOVE AVERAGE headphone ONLY if you know how to optimize the sounds by tweaking stuff in your PC. Or else this will seem below average.
