A good steam iron with a few wrinkles.
This is my first review on Flipkart and this is also my first purchase. I’d like to cover all the details.
First off, the ordering on Flipkart was flawless and the delivery was quick. The steam iron looks pleasing to the eye and will be more than sufficient for everyday ironing. It generates a lot of steam in its maximum setting and clears wrinkles in no time. Overall I am satisfied with the product.
Pros:
Get hot very quickly(~1min)
Sufficient Steam generation capacity.
Pleasing looks.
Has a system to prevent scale formation(haven’t used so I can’t judge its performance)
Cons:
Water dripping from iron when temp is set below the top 2 temp levels. Can soil your clothes since the water is loaded with rust like particles.
Water spout covering has very flimsy hindges, surprised that a component which will be used very frequently has such low quality hindges(blatant cost cutting seen).
Cotton setting makes the iron very hot and can cause a burnt color on even your most heavy cotton clothes.
