I bought Philips water purifier few years back and it is a great product in terms of looks, stability. However they have very pathetic after sales service. I logged a complain as my filter was not working . Philips customer services informed that someone will visit to look into that in 48 hrs. I got a call within 24 hours but a person visited only after 3 days. he said that my water filter needs to changed, so he changed that.
At that time, there was no water, so he said give me a call if this does not solve the problem. I was not at home when he came. When I came back home, it was not working, so I asked him to come and look into that. I opened to check if the filter is not fitted properly and it appears he fixed a damaged filter. Since then I called twice and that guy told that he will come next day and it has been 8 days but he did not come. When I called Philips customer care, they said they will log a fresh request as per their process rather than escalating on the previous request, which is very strange process. I am still waiting for someone to fix it.
The problem is, it seems they have outsourced the service to external agencies and they dont monitor or question whether any service request is closed or open. If a third party service center is good, its your luck. Once you log a complaint about existing complain, they register a new complain to assign that to another service center.
