It is better than Aquaguard and value for money

Had purchased the Philips Water Purifier 20 months ago. We were using Aquaguard before.

Had purchased Aquaguard just 3 months ago and it gave more headaches than pure water. Sometimes it would not deliver water and the customer support is pathetic. After we register the complain the technician would come after 5 days.  Mine mother had take trouble of boiling the water and then cooling it for people to drink it.

Then we bought the Philips Water purifier. It is operated electrically {Aquaguard we have to just plug in the water tap}.

Since the past 20 months we have not faced any issues with this purifier. Just had to change the candle of the purifier once after a year. We called the customer support and within 24 hours the technician was at our address. He was well dressed, had a ID and spoke very politely. He changed the candle and purifier was working again.

The machine is built in such a way that when the candle has gone bad it gives a signal {a icon with a cross on drop of water} flashes with a red light.

Another feature is that it has AUTO programming. Just have to enter the number of litres we want and after the purifier is delivered it shuts down automatically.

This purifier has back up of delivering 5.5 liters of water if by chance the electricity goes out. No one in our family has gone ill because of any water born illness for the past year. The only disadvantage is that the display is very small. I think 3" by 1".
