It is said that you realize the value of a person when he/she leaves. I have been a customer of Eureka Forbes water filter for 7 years, and boy have they pampered me.
I have shifted to a rented place where the "sense and simplicity" of the Philips filter is shocking beyond frustration.
Good looking, but poor design. What do I use filter for, fill a glass/bottle. In Philips, "unique" design, there is no tray provided. So, I have to stand for 10 minutes holding one bottle after another.
Service: Guarantee is given of 48 hrs (2 days). The technician called back after 1.5 days asking for an appointment on day.
3. When I reminded him of 48 hrs service, all he said was "They say that to everybody anyways". We had settled for his arrival at 11:00 on day 3, and he calls me up at 11:30 to ensure I am at home, so he can leave his office.
What, I am supposed to do, wait with a garland or something?
- Spare part: EVERYTHING is covered under warranty by Eureka Forbes. Philips obviously has a different version. Water filter installation charges of Rs. 100/- are a rip off. So, you can save yourself some agony.
