I watched PHP yesterday and I must tell that yesterday was the most boring day of my life.Neeraj Vora completely fails to retrieve the magic that Priyadarshan created in HERA PHERI.
The film is copmletely filled with invidious humour, puerile jokes which bore the poor audiences to the hilt.The main story (or the absence of it) is plotless , absurd and senseless.
The film is filled with plethora of obsolete ’comic’ situations which make the film abysmal.
The only silver lining in the dark cloud is the sequence between Akshay and Rimi at the outset of the film.It evokes some laughter.The circus episode is sheer macabre.
Akshay and Paresh does try to enthuse some life in this film but fail miserably to elevate the level of the film which falls thus taking the film to its ultimate nadir.Sunil is wooden, conjuring up obstreperous dialogues, showing wierd expressions.Rajpal Yadav is good.Sharad Saksena, Ravi kisan ham.Johny Lever is tawdry.Rimi does good in whatever she is given.Bipasha puts in a juvenile and crass act.What made her accept this film?She is zilch as copmared to Tabu who made her presence felt in Hera Pheri inspite of three male protagonists dominating the whole film.
Neeraj Vora should stick to writing scripts and dialogues.Cinematography is mediocre and the same goes for the music.The music is only good for the track ’Yaad Sataye Teri’.The rest of the tracks are pieces of crap.The producers have heralded the third part of HP, I suggest them to come up with a good script and bring back Mr.Priyadarshan to direct it.SKIP THIS BORING’n’BAKWAAS HERA PHERI.
