Picasa is a useful utility for them who download loads and loads of pictures from the internet or any media such as ipod, digital camera on the computer daily or frequently. It lets you organize your pictures into customized, proper albums, collections and also fiddle with them, resulting in an amazing innovative creation. You are able to add the personal touch to the picks also and except the basic features like cropping, red eye reduction, printing, slideshows, it’s got much much more to treat you!!! Instead of getting bored, at least I enjoy the most when working through Picasa if compared to other softies.
Because of the Simple yet sophisticated interface, quick installation & startup, being free, easy to use, small in size- Picasa has become the favorite of many consumers around the globe. One great specialty what this softy possesses is that it never overwrites the original image, making more simpler for the person to choose between the two: Original & Edited. ~Overall a masterpiece in the field- PICASA JAISA KOI NAHIN, lol~

Without wasting any time/space, read on to know about the features
- As you open Picasa it automatically searches for pictures on the local plus network drives, then separates and sorts them into albums on the basis of creation date or folder name. 2
. Collage, Print, Label, Email & Export : After selecting some pictures from the library, through the collage tab you can make one with further freedom of choosing- The type-color of background & location!!! Coming to Print and label tabs, now easily print the edited photographs with just one click and also label them. Since Picasa doesn’t overwrites the original picture, if you wanna save the edited one, click on this tab and then email it through outlook express!!!
Slideshow, Gift a disc & blog: These two features enables us to make a slideshow with beautiful effects and scenery in the background. Then after viewing it, simply burn a disc containing the pictures in the album and the automatic slideshow link!!!! A blog can be created through Picasa of the images selected and be viewed after 15 minutes of posting.
On double-clicking a picture, A table kind off thing appears at the left hand side showing various functions which we can perform and make the picture even more fascinating and kool. Those functions include:
a) Fill colors automatically in a B&W Image.
b) Brighten up the image
c) Remove Shadows to some extent.
D) If your image is teda-meda, straighten it up through the tool.
e) Sharpen the image.
f) Give Color to a small portion of the image and leave the rest B&W
g) Blur everything in the image except an particular object/human being.
H) Improve skin/area color &
The Movie maker feature is the best one by which we can make a movie of images with a personalized page, titles and sub-titles screened at the beginning.
Zoom into the image upto 400x...Not kiddin this time.. :)

How has it helped me ???
Picasa has helped me throughout in my school projects. For eg: In the pollution one I made a collage of all the images, then took out a printout and made it the main cover page!!! Also Made a slideshow/screensaver of my parents marriage photographs, burnt a compact disc and finally gifted it to them on their 25th anniversary!!
So to sum it up, I would say -Good software and tell me, For what are you waiting ?, go man.....quickly download it .
