A ray of hope for affordable persian cuisine

Quick and efficient service with good food sums up this joint. It basically serves Lebanese and Irani (not brun maska type Irani but Persian Irani!) cuisine.

I would recommend it’s Showarma (available in chicken & mutton), Chelo Kebab (Irani style mince kebabs on a bed of buttered rice with herbs), roast chicken (comes with buttered rice in a gravy base) and the thick n creamy caramel custard! All this will set you back by Rs200 per head.

So it is not expensive at all. Service is snappy and the ambience is casual, good place to hang out or have a quick bite. They also have heavier stuff like steaks, grilled chicken, showerma platter etc. but the crowd comes in for a quick showarma or roll.

All in all, if you prefer Lebanese/Iranian fare, you wont be disappointed! It is located opposite Electric House along the Colaba Causeway, which already houses good joints like Food Inn, Leopold and Mondy’s.
