Please Never buy Prestige's Induction Cookers

On 13.12.2011, I bought a brand new prestige pic 1.0 induction cooker from a famous dealer in trivandrum. The price of the product, including a 3-piece prestige induction-base cookware, was rs.3596/-.

Asked the sales man to do a demo, and he quickly set up a pan of water and heated it for say, 10-15 seconds(at 1900w) in "hot pot" mode. When the water started boiling, he said all is fine and quickly packed the stuff(i also didn’t care to wait till the water got boiled and generate steam).

On reaching home, the same evening, I summoned all family members and proudly inaugurated the stuff by boiling some water. To my utmost disbelief, after some 1 min, it got off showing an error code e6. I then checked the internet and could see only negative reviews about prestige. Again many times, I tried with "hot pot" mode and got the same result.

Let me tell you my dear friends.if a brand new product, no matter whatever it is, breaks out in just 2 hrs after you bought it, (and its not my case alone).whats the quality of that stuff?

Prestige induction cooker sucks! Please do not buy them! Go for preeti or bajaj or tcl or fabiano or morphy richards or any other brand, but never prestige!

Im now preparing for a big fight with their service team.
