I bought a pigeon 3 burner gas stove from big bazar Kozhikode on october 2, 2015. As soon as we started using we could get the smell of gas leak. We registered out complaint with their customer care and even after more than a week no one turned up. Then we obtained the number of the service person in this city from the Big bazar people and called him. He came and worked with the stove for more than 2 hours and left.
Next day we opened the stove and still there is smell of gas leak.
We sent an email to the pigeon customercare and they have not done anything yet to redress the grievance. They seems to take lightly the gas leak problem.
My experience teaches me not to buy anything from this sort of manufacturers.
I may have to go through the cumbersome and time taking consumer court. But I think I should do it for the sake of other customers who would be cheated and taken for a ride by this sort of companies
