Pathetic service offered by pikwik with compromised food quality without caring for food safety norms.
We have been visiting pikwik regularly on Saturday during our official lunch after seeing the nice reviews about the taste of the food online, however, the reality is entirely different.
Although the food tastes good their food hygiene, quality, and service are highly compromised as infrequent visit we have been served compromised quality of food repeatedly. Initially, we thought it was a genuine mistake on their part but later we realized that they and their owner Gurpreet Singh hardly care about any food safety standards.
We have been first served stale chicken in reshmi kabab once, sour paneer the other time and lastly tandoori roti with human hair in it. The first time the staff apologized and replaced the food, second time staff again apologized and replaced the food saying it won’t happen again.
Last time they simply and casually said hum "apka khana badal ke dedete" when we found hair in their roti.
When we objected asked for the manager, the manager Mr. Ajay rudely, abusively said that " we are giving you food for free what else we can do"? we left the food on that day. Also, he told us that since kitchen supplies keep coming in hence finding a human hair in roti or stale chicken, sour paneer cannot be controlled.
On top when I told that I will complaint food inspector he said do whatever you want? In fact, their behavior clearly reflects that they hardly care about the quality and food safety norms.T he worst thing of the chain is we talked to his owner Mr. Gurpreet who listened to our complaint and said he will get back to us on the resolution of this issue but never called back.
We as customer spend our hard end money and expect that good quality food is served which is hygienically prepared and if some issues are pointed out the concerned restaurant tries to improve on it. However, to our amazement, Pikwik restaurant doesn’t believe in offering good quality food nor they have any regard for Indian law.
We have decided not to eat from this restaurant chain and will advise everyone think twice before going there.
we will be soon putting the complaint to fassi and other government authorities to ensure that this kind of restaurant who offer and compromised the quality of food where the manager itself says that he can not do anything about the food safety and its quality should not be allowed to operate in Delhi NCR.
The worst part is the owner is casual about the same and busy fooling customers and their mantra is
"if something goes wrong, replace the food or give them a discount on the bill and laugh about it "
Beware going in this restaurant chances are 1 out of 3 times you will have the face the same situation there.
