I completed my Bachelors of Engineering from Automobile stream from Pillais Institute n 2013. I would like to highlight certain points based on the teaching experience, Infrastructure, events, placements.
Teaching Faculty is quite good, I wont say they are highly qualified but yes they are not so bad. Ultimately what matters is how much you give to studies and prepare yourself. But yes teachers are always prompt to help you.
Infrastructure: The infra of Pillais is tremendous. Just enter the college, youll feel like you are some 5* hotel or somethings. The classes are mostly equipped with projectors, the ground floor lobby is awesome, the toilets are well constructed, neat, clean.
Events: There are a lot of events: cultural and technical that used to happen such as Impulse and Pegasus when I used to study, but later everything was summed in one event called Alegria. Believe it or not, its the Navi mumbais largest event any college has. Do visit website of alegria for more detailed knowledge.
Placements: The placement council of PIIT sucks. Literally nobody is bothered about if u r placed or not. You are paying a hefty amount of fees, they are receiving it, they are happy. You are getting a job or not, is of the least concern for the college.
Alumni Network: I dont think anything of that sort exists.
