I have been ordering online from Pind Balluchi and found the food OK, so decided to visit the restaurant in person. It was last month when we visited the restaurant. When we entered asked for a table of 2, instead of escorting us to the table, the guy on the counter just pointed towards a table in the corner and asked us to take it. When we reached the table, we realized that only one of the chairs could be occupied since there was no place to pull the other chair and sit on it(it was cramped). So we asked one of the waiters to either make some space or provide us with another table. We were standing there for 5 minutes before one of the waiters pointed us to another table. The food arrived in time(didnt take too long). The waiter just placed the food and went away. We ate the food expecting nothing in terms of service only to receive the bill with the 5.6% of service charge added to the total amount even though the service charge is no longer mandatory. We were surprised to see that they are still levying a mandatory service charge for the pathetic service they provide. When we questioned, the guy who came to collect the bill had no answers. It was our day off and didnt want to get involved in any arguments, so we paid the bill and left but not before deciding not to visit the restaurant again.
Like a lot of people, food is a deciding factor for me when I choose a restaurant to dine in but service comes first. So, to people looking for a good service, I would suggest this place is a no-no. And before you say that it was just one experience, there are other people in my circle who hadnt a good experience with this particular restaurant.
