You really have to be cold, cynical and possibly living in denial if you want deeply affected by PINK .This powerful film directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury and produced by Shoojit Sircar is a stinging accusation of the deep set prejudices unmistakable dislike misplaced male entitlement and outright injustice that women across INDIA must content daily and particularly when protesting against unwanted sexual attention, when a woman says no it means no it doesnt matter how she is dressed whether she had a drink or two whether she was flirting with a man earlier and irrespective of her sexual history . The filmmaker drive this point with all the subtlety of sledgehammer and PINK is all the better for it, in a smart story telling move we never actually see that sparks off the chain of events of this film not until the end credits to be fair . You have to rely on the case and the accusation made to piece up the story of three young women at a resort in the late evening .
