Pink is one of the best movies which I have seen in recent times. A powerful story and pitch perfect performances by all the actors make it worth a watch. A very relevant issue of women’s security in today’s society has been taken up in this movie and it makes the viewers question the double standards of the society which have different sets of criteria for men and women.
Shoojit Sarkar has proved himself once again with this movie. It is about three working girls who go for a rock concert, meet some boys and accept their dinner invitation. But they didn’t know that this will lead the boys to think that they are promiscuous and when Rajveer tries to force himself on Minal, she hits him on the head with a bottle in self-defence & escapes. This unleashes a terror in their lives as Rajveer is from a political family and now seeks revenge.
The film ends with a powerful message that "When a girl says NO, it means NO".
