Pink is a Indian courtroom drama film, directed by Aniruddha aaroy Choudhuri, produced by Shoojit SIrkar. It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kriti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang, Amgad Bedi, Piyush Misra, Dritiman Chatterjee. The film was a clear winner at the box office. A very strong and positive response came from all over the country for this film.
PLOT- There was 3 girls lived in a society of South Delhi. They were working professionals. One day in a rock concert they accepted a dinner with Rajveer, nephew of a powerful politician along with his 2 friends in a resort of Surajkund near Faridabad. In the drunken condition Rajveer tried to mollest Minal Arora. But Minal could save herself by smashing a bottle in to Rajveer’s eye. For revenge they hit upon a plan with the help of nearby Police, Minister etc. Minal got arrested. Then in this critical condition Mr. Shagal(Amitabh Bachchan) came to help the girls and questioned the society view and finally save them.
For me that was an eye opener for the people of creep mindset and a powerful hit to the conservative society in 21st century where we speak about women independence and respect.Talking about the film Amitabh Bchchan, Taapsee Pannu suited the powerful character like a lawyer Mr. Sahgal, very powerful woman Minal. Cast creation in this film was excellent. And it was shot in the heart of new delhi where the protest against Nirvaya rape raised some years ago.
In this some of the question was asked to the society itself if the girls are really safe in the modern world. In the conversation Mr Sahgal asked, If a gird takes drink, laughs with an unknown gye and goes with him, is it a sign of a bad girl and she is opened to be raped?
In this society where we raise voice against rape, girls dependency, their work, etc, we find some people saying against it. This is not desirable.
