The car audio Pioneer DEH-P4650MP is probably the entry level of Pioneer. But the performance is in no way entry level - very high and impressive. I am not a person who is interested in ’thum thum thum’ like rock music which only gives more of noise than music, but really appreciating good music - be it movie, instrumental, carnatic.
So, I was in search of a good system which will satisfy my needs of listening to good music while driving without disturbing my driving (I believe driving is one of the most responsible activity a person can do without causing accidents or getting into accidents) at the same time enjoying it.
I believe it doesn’t make sense to have 100s of Watts of power inside a small enclosure like a car. We can have such good system as home theater system and enjoy relaxing at night. So, with my views as described above, I browsed websites of good audio for car.
I read about this Pioneer 4650 and I thought it will meet my needs. I bought Santro Xing car and fitted this system with Sony GF1021X speaker (4’’ Two way speaker), yes only two speakers at the front are enough. Believe me, with the good options of graphic equalizers of Pioneer and Sony speakers the response is marvellous and I drive my car just to enjoy the music.
This review is for people like me who don’t want to spend too much but still want to enjoy music - AS MUSIC ! Total cost of the system is only Rs. 7000 + 900 which I believe is good investment for a car like Xing. I am sure there are lot of people like me who want to spend money wisely meeting exactly their requirements. For such people I think this is good combination.
