An unplanned visit to Pirates of Grill for lunch last week was brilliant. Right from the start of the lunch to the end was hassle free. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch with the food and the hospitality provided by the staff.
The starters were almost similar to the one provided by BBQ Nation, except the Pineapple. It comes on a sword and the guys cut it with knife in front of you.
The starters included:
Paneer Tikka: It was soft and fresh, but more of salty.
Fried Corns: American corns fried with sprinkled chat masala, were just yummy.
Spanish Potato: All-time favorite, crisp and juicy.
Cheese Kabab: Good to enjoy, nothing very special.
Grilled Mushrooms: The first round of mushrooms were really spicy, made us sweat. It was yummy. The second time it was not that spicy.
Grilled Cauliflower: It was an average dish.
Complimentary Drink: You can choose from Fresh Lime, Virgin Mojito, Alcoholic Mojito or Beer. I tried Virgin Mojito and it was good.
In Main course they had wide variety of things, I tried:
Spicy tomato and Basil Soup: I always love to try soups, this one was mix of sweetness and tanginess. Not exceptional in taste.
Dal Makhni: It was really superb in taste, heavy on tummy and it had loads of desi ghee.
Garlic Noodles: It was yummy, ting of garlic made the noodles tastier.
Fresh Fruits: I tried few fresh fruits available like watermelon, musk melon etc.
Sweets: In sweets they had apple pie, vanilla mousse, gulab jamun, ice-cream, pudding, cake etc. I tried chocolate cake, vanilla mousse and gulab jamun, all of these were good in taste.
The service was exceptionally well, the staff specially came to us after specific intervals to ask about the food and what more we wanted. Though the place was fully occupied they didn’t let us feel as they are running short of anything. Ambience was great, there was a big projector screen as well to enjoy.
