I always enjoyed Johnny Depp’s performances, but have never been a hardcore fan. But his performance as the incorrigibly sexy Cap’n Jack Sparrow has made me a fan for life.
I can’t remember that last time that I enjoyed a movie as much as I did this. A simple focused plot with all the right ingredients - witty dialogue, romance, great effects and riveting action sequences working together to make this film a winner. Not to mention a fantastic ensemble cast with the mouthwatering Johnny Depp, a cursed Geoffery Rush, the lovely Keira Knightely and a swashbuckling Orlando Bloom.
Don’t go looking for hidden meaning in the deep dark waters of the ocean in this film. Don’t look for disturbing emotions or morals. Pirates of the Caribbean is an adventure. One you get easily swept into.
If you haven’t watched this film as yet, don’t wait. Catch the experience on big screen if possible. Its money and time well spent. And girls, Johnny Depp looks good enough to eat.
