Riddick is surely gonna rock!!
Granted it is sequel of sorts-but it still different so that it isn’t gonna be a rehash of the first film-PITCH BLACK.
Incidentally PB was the reason I became a vin fan in the first place.
Vin as the cold-blooded escaped convict Riddick was fantastic. Every time he onscreen it virtually sizzled with electricity. He had few dialogues but his silences were what that made the movie. He s bad-ass -probably the coolest anti-hero to grace the silver -screen in a long time.
He isn’t a good-guy, saviour of all to begin with and isn’t turned into one at the end either.
That’s what made him likeable so much. And from what I have read and seen in this new movie his character remaines the same, only his surrounding gets expanded.
This movie is for those who are PBfans like me or fans of the sc-fi or fantasy epic genre cause there enough to blow anyone away- space battles on a galactic scale to far-away planets.
It’s like star-wars meet LOTR. Only darker and more savage. So go out and enjoy the thrill ride.
