Plot -
This is the third chapter of the world wide hit franchise Pitch Perfect. The core of the story is a Capella singing group. The Bella group has already graduated from the college and were doing separate things their life. Meanwhile they were invited at a show, where they came to know that they were not invited to sing but to watch. After the show they decide to enter a singing competition in which the winner will have the honor to perform on an upcoming tour with DJ Khaled. As they enter the competition and met other groups they realize that the other groups are way better and they have to come up with something if they want to defeat them. So how are they gonna survive he competition is the movie is all about with some twist and turns.
Performance and Cast -
Personally the concept of the friends reuniting and fighting after facing humiliation is a cliched concept, the writer should have understood that. The characters have played their part well and again Anna Kendrick was the highlight as she was offered with a good opportunity and asked to leave the group. The writers have tried to fill the story with comic essence but were unsuccessful.
Music and Cinematography -
As the movie is a musical comedy the music is obviously good. The cinematography was average.
Bottom line is that even though the last part Pitch Perfect 2 in 2015 has done well, this part is not able to attract the audience. I will not recommend this movie to be watched in a cinema hall.
