Sivaputrudu

SIVAPUTRUDU (Siva’s Son)........ the dubbed version of Pithamagan

the best aspect about this movie was that it ended just like it started....

Siddhu is born in a crematorium and soon after his birth his mother dies...... his life goes on the way it started.... death of others is his means of living.....

He is brought up by the undertaker........ who dies after a few years... now siddhu has nowhere to go.... so he goes into te vilage..... people there dont accept him... but siddhu never having faced these villagers.... goes around thrashing away whoever comes his way......

It is at this time that sangeeta accepts him and looks after him...

He has no emotions..... he cant speak ....... he cant laugh...cry... nothing

but this not to be throughout and he is changed by the character played by surya.....

What happens next is for u people to see....

Rarely do u see people giving a standing ovation to a movie dubbed into telugu... believe me I just saw the movie and there were abt 500 people up on their feet clapping and more than a few with tears in their eyes

4 great things about this movie are:

1) an original script and nowhere did the director compromise on the script inorder to gain a box offcice advantage

2) vikram surya laila and sangeeta are awesome......... vikram definitely deserves a national award if not more

3) the music is perfectly apt by the maestro ’’ Illayaraja’’

4) the cinematography is breath taking and deserves a special mention

So, hats off to bala who after great hits like sethu and nanda gave another brilliant movie.

I’d definitely have vikram for a nomination in the national awards.... not in the regional film section but in the best actor in the country.

For all those guys who haven’t seen the movie as yet.... move ur asses.
