Pithmagan – Really an excellent film including direction, cast performance, cinematography, music and everything
Story – Friendship between a normal man(Surya) and an abnormal man(Vikram) who always remains calm and behaves like an animal. They meet each other in a prison. They become good friends. After releasing from the prison worked under villain who is doing illegal ganja business. Surya is not interested in working illegal activates and he oppose the villain was murdered by the villain. In the climax Vikram go for revenge for his friend’s death.
Direction – The director of the film is Bala. Already has given two big hit films Sethu and Nanda. In this film, he chooses the correct actors who can able to do the role very well, make them to transfer whatever the characters are given to them, sequences of film also very good, no item number songs, and finally makes a very good film.
Cast Performance:
Vikram- Serious role, acts in this movie without speaking a single word, that’s really fantastic; he got the National Award for the Best Actor. He is a remarkable actor, played his character very well.
Surya- Acts as comedy role and did very well. He is improving his acting skills in each of his films. Romance scenes with Laila are very nice to watch.
Sangeetha and Laila- Are the female leads and did well, especially Sangeetha.
Music - Composed by "Musical King" Illiyaraja - scores the background music tremendously. Songs are very nice to hear, once again proved he is the best, in particular “Elangathu vesuthey” song.
