I was deceived by the flyers advertising what a Pizza should look like: thick, moist, juicy with generous toppings! But when I ordered three different varieties, they were NOTHING like the pictured images.
Each Pizza had just a (thin) brushing of sour Pizza paste, a parsimonious sprinkling of toppings you can count on one hand, and about two level teaspoons of cheese! All three Pizzas lacked adequate elasticity and were dry like shoe leather.
When I complained to the manager (Satish in Banjara Hills), he sent replacements in exchange which had even less cheese and toppings, and were just as dry and insipid. I was told they have a standard formula to make Pizza. Well, that ’’standard formula’’ seriously deviates from the product they advertise. “The pictures are for advertising purposes only, ” states Satish.
FALSE ADVERTISING to con the public in because what we see is NOT what we get! I asked for the Regional Director and was told he is a Narender Reddy (Mobile: 9949611120). I called that number numerous times. It was either busy or switched off. I logged on to their corporate website, clicked on the “Contact Us” Link and attempted to convey my complaint via their email system. You guessed it: It doesn’t work! Apparently, they have a “standard formula” of dealing with complaints. I read with disbelief some of the flattering reviews on their site.
They were either opined by some village hicks who’ve never bitten into a decent Pizza or some patronizing employees trying their hand at journalistic fiction. My experience with Pizza Corner shows they have the trimmings of a “get rich quick” racket. I’m inclined to believe that the Corporate “Management” is resigned to the fate of their entrepreneurship soon becoming a “fly-by-night” affair so they’re raking in the bucks as quickly and unscrupulously as they can! There’s no two ways of looking at this: This is criminal fraud! I am considering making a police complaint and seeking redress.
