This experience is regarding Pizza Hut at Hyderabad. When I ordered I was assured that it would be delivered in half an hour. After 40 minutes or so when I called up I was told that the delivery boy had left the nearest Pizza Hut outlet 17 minutes back.
That was of course a lie. It does not take more than 7 minutes to drive down to my residence from their store.I called again after some time. More sweet-talk and lies followed.I was hungry like hell. I called again. This time too the customer care executive started with his usual serving of lies. Exasperated, I cut him short and cancelled the order.
Total wait time was one hour. That is the much-hyped PHD for you. Other home delivery joints like KFC, McDonald’s and Domino’s are much better.
