We have many Pizza Hut locations here in South Florida. Ive been to 3 different locations and I cant say I enjoyed any of my experiences.
Let me first start by saying that there are literally 100 different Italian restaurants around here, all serving much better pizza!
If you order a thin crust pizza at Pizza Hut, you get what I can best describe as flatbread with some acidy, yet tasteless sauce, a sprinkle of cheese(never enough for my taste) and yes, I must say they are generous with the toppings.
If you order a deep dish pizza, you wind up with a soggy, greasy, thick crust, with the same lame ingredients as above.
The offer about 10 different styles of pizza. Yet they all taste the same to me. Either the crust is too thin or too thick.
They advertise specials all the time, i.e: Buy 1 large 1 topping pizza at $9.99 and get 1 medium 1 topping pizza for just $4.99 more. Not a bad deal, but read the fine print! Some of the toppings are not included in the special prices. So add on an additional $2.00 for the large and an additional $1.00 for the medium. Hmmmmmmm, now its gonna cost you $11.99 and $5.99. $18.00 for what every other pizza restaurant around here charges at least $4.00 less for.
The restaurants also offer a buffet and salad bar, all the pizza and salad you care to eat. Lunch will run you $6.99 and dinner $8.99. Once again you can get the same at a lot of other restaurants serving much better quality food.
To add insult to injury, they serve soft drinks in plastic glasses which are old, scratched and didnt look too clean.
The restaurants themselves are kind of dark and dingy as well. Are they trying to hide something?
They do offer free delivery and are open late for those of you who still want to try and consume some really bad pizza.
Thanks for listening to me sound off. =)
