The other day I was in Bangalore on official tour and decided to visit Pizza Hut for the evening dinner. I went in the place with a colleague of mine. Since he is a Vegetarian we decided to try the new Pan Tandoori Pizza.
We ordered two Pan Tandoori pizza with Cheese Garlic bread and Pepsi.
The place had an excellent ambience situated on the busy Brigade Road. The service was fast. We were told that the Pizzas would be ready in 18 minutes but it was on our table within 9 minutes flat. First they served the Pepsi followed by the Garlic breads. And while we were waiting for the Pizzas the place had two TVs which showed the replay of India-Kenya World cup match. A unique concept was Bell at the exit which we chimed to indicate our satisfaction. The staff was cheered by our action.
The food was excellent. Garlic bread with cheese was very good. The pizzas just melted in our mouth. The cheese simply was different, even Dominos lacks such a cheese. My vegetarian friend loved the place.
I am sure that on my next visit to Bangalore I will drop in at Pizza hut. I am sorry to say I am not aware whether Pizza Hut is in Mumbai. I think they need to be little more aggressive in advertising.
With so many Pizza joints vying to capture the taste buds Pizza Hut has succeeded in not just pleasing the taste buds but winning over hearts.
