Know across the world for Pizzas’ and opened with fanfare in Ahmedabad, they make just good ambience. The pizzas are just bland, even the so called spicy ones. Put up all the chilli flakes but still you will find them bland.
There is a deviation in their policy, as opposed to worldwide. In ahmedabad they have put up the first only veg pizza hut.
The ambience is good and pleasing, with timed and choreographed waiter movements, that are treasured by kids and adults alike, but what drives people and the palate is tasty food. Which incidentally is missing from the normal city pizzas that we have. Same is the case with the home delivery Dominos, even their pizzas taste very bland and are hence unpalatable.
I guess these american companies (MNC’s) better mould not only their communication (advertising) but also their products to the Indian palate, taste and culture.
