My profile was pulled out from one of the online job portals, not that I approached them directly. I got a call from one of their executives- who went on trying to show me stars in broad day light. Attractive packages, super amenities and what not. Even to the extent that my profile has been short-listed by the top hospitality honchos in the UAE. Can you believe that? And if I pay them right away, I will have a skype interview within a day!
Bigger brands follow stringent and a more conducive approach when it comes to recruitment procedures. They will not choose to have it communicated to the candidate through an unprofessional and an extremely crude executive. Who can hardly speak a proper sentence with finesse but is more interested in extracting the cash out of people like us.
I am amazed, when I clearly replied, ’I understand and should think about this!’ It was as though all hell had broken lose! He was rude beyond comprehension and started scowling at me. Left with no choice, I had to disconnect the call.
P.S. There are many other legitimate ways of earning money. Request you to stop attacking the local mass who are struggling hard to make ends meet. BEWARE!
