Today I want to share an experience about the fighter jets. I visited the Palam Air Force Station where I first saw the Falcon also known as F-16. The Air Marshall was giving some information about the Jet that I can recall was that right now it is one of the best fighter air craft. He said that the fighter jet has two version. They are F-16 A/B, F-16 C/D, F-16 E/F, F-16 IN, F-16 IQ F-16 N & F-16 V. The F-16 C/D is the latest version & upgraded fighter jet.
The new and upgraded version of F-16 can carry air to ground missile, rockets, bombs, navigation & most importantly ECM. This battle machine can carry six weapon under the wings, two on the wing tips and one under fuselage. This aircraft also has space available under the fuselage for sensors.
He also gave us the difference between the F-16 A/B & F-16 C/D:-
The F 16-A and C are single sitters, whereas F-16 B and D are double sitters. The IAF is looking for the F-16 V which is the latest version in the future.
This fighter jet is a huge history and after each battle it is coming up with new upgrades and modification.
The name Falcon suites the F-16 as it has a top speed of around 1400 to 1500 mph that means it can cover the earth & complete one round with a tank full of fuel.
