This is my first experience with online shopping in India though I have bought products from overseas online firms.
Moreover I was looking to buy goods for a total worth of Rs40000 from Playground Online. So I was very skeptical after seeing average to bad reviews. I ordered a Table Tennis table (Rs28000), 3 TT tackets, TT balls, carromboard and a few other items for a total of Rs 40000.
The staff were very friendly and honest. They behaved in a very professional manner sending every detail about my order. All the products that I had ordered arrived within 10-12 days of placing and my order and in very good condition.
However there were major hiccups in the process. I stay in Kodaikanal. Though they promised to ship the TT table to Kodai, the service stopped at Madurai. I had to intervene and get the table transported to Kodai myself. As with other Indian online firms delivery management is bad and they also lack attention to detail. I had mentioned 3-4 minor points to be taken care of but they didnt. However I expected this. But I would shop with them again because they are genuine and are trying to carve a niche in the Indian online market.
