I just love to try out and wear new perfumes. Everytime I see a new print or TV ad for perfumes, I almost start to imagine myself wearing that perfume and I start to walk in Fairyland.
First time I came across Pleasures by Estee Lauder was when I was in Delhi visiting a friend around two years ago. I had gone to a weddding and there was this lady who smelt so cool. I was definitely attracted to the smell (just the smell). So I walked upto her when she was alone and I introduced myself and I asked her which perfume she was wearing. She told me that it’s Estee Lauder’s Pleasures.
So when I came back to Mumbai (or Bombay if you prefer) I went to Heera Panna and looked for this. The perfume shop did not have a tester, so I just paid and bought the bottle.
Ever since then, I have been wearing this off and on. By now you must have realized, I have atleast a dozen perfumes! But I love Pleasures.
The scent is Mild, and fresh. It is not irritating at all. Mild is good if you want to wear it for everyday use, without causing too much attention. Have you smelt lillies? The fragrance note is more of black and white lillies.!
Now, any perfume or cologne has three layers of smell called Notes. There is the ’’Top’’ note. The Middle note and the base note.
Top note for pleasures is lillies as I said, middle note is more of gardenia and base note I think is more like musk.
It is the musk in this perfume that makes it attractive when you are around guys.
So girls, if you want to walk past a guy and make him stop and think about your perfume, wear pleasures.
