Marvelous pokèmon game 200% recommend. The graphics are amazing in this game. The pokèmon have such great details and the new gen 9 are also really well made(I recommend the fire starter, it’s able to take down most gyms and in it’a final form it’s fire and ghost type which is really handy) and not to forget about the environment. Sure the game have some frame drops here and there but I am sure they’ll update the game and fix those(not ruining gameplay, just some minor when the game gets too overwhelming for the Switch).
I wasn’t really very excited for the new mechanic called "Trusting" but turns out it’s really great. So basically if you have a fire pokèmon which has an ice tera type it makes it so when you tarasti, the pokèmon becomes the tera type instead of it’s actual type which means that if you use a ice move then that ice move will be much stronger, and if you try to use a water move it won’t be "super effective" anymore because it’s an ice type now(only in that battle, normal after the battle and only ice type when you have trusted in the battle, like mega evolution, a temporary effect in battle if you want to). Hard to explain but really handy for competitive battles. You can find certain raids in the Palda region which can grant you these special pokèmon with different tera types.
The story is a 10/10, real good, the characters are so well made that for the first time I actually feel something for them when they interact and I even had a few laughs here and there because they actually managed to make the games interactions funny here and there. The legendary pokemon(I played Violet) is amazing. It’s an ooen world game which makes it possible to climb mountains, jump, surf, and even glide like in "Zelda Breath Of The Wild". I were even amazed by the end credits, it really felt like I had just watched a movie, the story was that good. I am really happy about this game, much content and over 400 pokémon to collect really recommend
