After directing a few hit movies in the Telugu field, much was expected from Prabhu Deva, who once created waves for his dance movements. But he lets us down. Its the story of how a cop who is under cover, joins the wrong doers gangs and ultimately kills their leader.
When Vijay’s career is in the upswing it is certainly sad that he has come up with this kind of a film. There are quite a few double meaning dialogues, which could have been avoided, especially when there are some meaningful films coming up and also since Vijay’s fans include a number of kids.
The film’s star cast has good performers, who do not have any chance to portray their talent. Asin should understand that merely acting with top heroes alone would do no good to her. She has to concentrate on films that would feed her acting skills. Its high time that Praksh Raj stops using his Gilli dialogue chellamey !!
The story line including the climax becomes evident in the first few scenes. We find some respite only in Vadivelu’s comedy scenes. (although they seem to be the usual ones).The song and dance sequences are of average type.
ONE FINAL WORD : THIS FILM WITH THE USUAL DISPLAY OF VIOLENCE IS JUST ANOTHER BORING ROUTINE.
