I recently bought a POLICE watch and when I was about to use it for the first
time it just slipped out of my hand and the glass was broken. I then checked
their website and also the booklet which had the details about the service
centers in India. They have listed one service center in Bangalore so I though
it would be cool to get it repaired. But when I called then at first the number
was incorrect and the person I spoke to told me that they (Rodeo Drive Luxury
Products) do not do the servicing of POLICE watches. The reason being that they
do not get the original spare parts from POLICE and since Rodeo is one of the
leading service providers in bangalore, this is POLICE’s marketing gimmick to
mention them as their service provider. I then went to shoppers stop since they
sell the POLICE watch and when I asked them about the service they referred me
to Rodeo only. But when I told them about my conversation with Rodea guys I was
surprised to find that they knew about the same and then told me that you would
get original spare parts in Delhi only and not in any other city. So all you
guys before you buy any POLICE watch - keep this in mind that you would somehow
need to send your watch to Delhi if required.
