I regret to tell you that buying a policy from policybazaar is not that easy as it seemed in the beginning.
The most important reason why I or anybody would buy a policy from PolicyBazaar is that You will help the customer and perform the duty of an agent between him and the policy issuer. But that is simply not my experience.
In the beginning everything was good until I made the payment, and the relevant documents were provided. After that there has been no follow up call and the status of my policy is the same (Documents required) after 1 month which is ridiculous.
I even called up your customer care asking for status 2 weeks back, and they said they will check with HDFC life and arrange a call.
That remains a vague promise and till date I havent received a call. I myself had to call the Insurance company to get the status.
Today I call back again and hear the same response. Overall I would say your customer relationship is very poor for the promises you made.
I would definitely not recommend this to my peers and advise them to go through an agent for better experience and accountability even though it costs a little more money.
