Back after 2 years and it is still an amazing place for superb food, ice cold beers and a great wine list. Food is outstanding, and reasonably priced for this classic 5 star hotel.
I had the most delicious tender chunks of Tandoori roasted paneer cheese, sliced into 3 with a delicately sliced tomato and onion chutney, accompanied by a fragrant Tarka Dahl and Tandoori Roti bread. It was absolutely divine, and I took so long to devour it I nearly fell asleep.
A super Henri Bourgeois Pouilly Fume was an excellent choice to match this spicy but oh so delicate dish. This bar has probably one of the most atmospheric terraces anywhere as it overlooks the lush lawn with beautiful manicured fauna and flora. Easily one of my favorite bars in all India.
