Ponds is one of the most popular and acclaimed beauty brands in India. So naturally when I heard that they are launching the BB cream.
I had high hopes for it. But the cream turned out to be a major disappointment. It did not leave me with the flawless complexion and even toned skin that it promised but rather a pasty face which looked unnaturally white.
Moreover I have a dusky complexion so the tint of the cream did not suit my face at all. I have used other BB creams for different brands available in the market and they have shown far better results. You need to blend this cream with a moisturiser before using it otherwise your skin might feel too dry. The product comes in a white plastic tube with a silver cap.
The cream is thick and creamy and the tint of the cream is more suitable for fairer skin rather then a dusky complexion. The rates of this product are Rs 69 for 9gm and Rs 125 for 18gm. This also seems a bit hefty. Although the product does give you instant fairness as promised, it doesn’t look natural and leaves you looking like you put way too much foundation. I would not recommend it.
