Review : Basically people come on this show pop idol, and im talking thousands and thousands of people! One by one they are given their 15 seconds of fame by given a chance to sing infront of 4 judges who are all big names in the music world. These judges tell them whether or not they are good enough to get through to the next round of this competition to look for a pop idol. BUT the judges can be extremely brutal with words. Especially Simon Cowell and Pete Waterman who make contestants cry on television. Now obviously when you have thousands and thousands of contestants you are going to get very bad singers who make you cring on the couch at home but this is a good thing! Yes it is, because then the judges will be laughing at them and then criticising them so brutally with words that some people will swear, some cry and cringiest of all: some will be begging for a second chance. The sad thing is that all these people coming on the show actually believe they can sing, when the fact is nearly all of them can’t sing! But then afew weeks later on, the show will have filtered out all the crap singers and we’ll be left with 50 quality singers battling it out and singing past chart hits (with the judges criticising them too). The entertainment factor changes from great natural comedy to quality music entertainment. The only problem is the background hosts, Ant and Dec, have become less funny.
