As most of you I have a pathetic experience with popular bajaj koramangala. My experience was slightly better till last year....but now its worst. I have a discover 125 dtsi which I got serviced in aug 10. The manager seemed to have changed and the new one seems to be managing a kirana store. There is somewhat a new guy...may be head of all mechanics who sits inside service area on chair and table.....really a very rude person....thinks he is the best mechanic...;-)
1.These ppl will always add some or the other item extra in ur job chart after servicing and if u dont pay attention....u r gone...
2.If you try to go inside the servicing area to confirm proper servicing.....Sir you are not allowed to enter here.....why?....company direction....Actually they don’t do all regular service works which bajaj prescribes....sometimes they wont even change the oil and u ll be charged. They charge for consumables and if you see properly, they wont even put grease and oil in different wires......extremely cheap activity!!!
3.Even if you go for servicing after 2 months advice to change engine oil, apply oil strain remover, chain oil, break shoe, clutch wire......I mean they are students of polytechnic given their lab in Koramangla.....customers are ginny pigs for them.....
- Always check your indicator lights and tail lamp for both brake n headlight......I have an exp two times when I gave it fine but didnt recieve the same way......on the top of it I have to fight with them to get it fixed for free as it went off during servicing.....
5.Every time they wash ur bike.....ur numbers on the number plate are gone......pay another 40 rupees each time to get it written...except 1 or 2 guys all are really arrogant and rude.....even the mechanics make faces and stare at you like dacoits......horrible.....
6.At the end.....if you pay by card.....you need to pay extra 2.5% swiping charge....no other service center charges extra amount......
If you dont want to spoil your bike and also your mood of the day......ditch this dealer and service center....I think Bajaj should stop giving dealership to Popular if they want to remain popular in market.
