I am in the US and booked a physiotherapy session for my mother(in Bangalore) as a gift. I made the payment of Rs 500 online and sent their customer support a confirmation of the payment as well as a message specifically asking them not to collect any money from my mother.
Their so called "Clinician" who visited my mother said that a payment has not been made and insisted that she pay Rs 500, even after my mother provided her with the payment confirmation number. My mother finally paid!
When I complained to customer support asking for a refund, they conveniently scheduled another session to make up for the "additional payment". Now I was made to pay for their mistake.
I was about to recommend then to an aged American couple going back to India. Thankfully I witnessed first hand how their service was and saved myself an embarrassment. If such an incident were to happen here, not only would I have had a full refund, they would have given a complimentary session to make up. Indian companies have a lot to learn about customer support!
In any case, my mother was not happy with the sessions and her shoulder pain only increased. It is unwise to expect professional physiotherapists to travel in Indian traffic to service customers.
