Okay, you have done with your University courses. You are at home with many choices.
If you like to do more learning from home, you can think of Distance Education.Since everything seems to change so quickly, it is important that you keep up the required knowledge in your field. The more versatile you are, the better!
Distance Education allows students to study through traditional correspondence course. Now a days, it even allows you to take courses over the internet and submit assignments via email. In my case, after completing my Masters in Science at the University, I did my Bachelors in Education through Distance Education which was very useful in my teaching career. You can decide on what you want to learn through Distance Education in accordance with your University subject.
You can think of marketing yourself! Maybe, there are some right employers waiting for you.You just have to find them and persuade them that you are the one, theyve been waiting for! Get your materials together.A resume, a cover letter and interview skills. You may also want to put together a portfolio that supports your achievements and proves you have the skills mentioned in your resume.
You can even think of running a home-based business, though it has its ups and downs. You need a certain amount of money to start any business of your own!
You can consider volunteering after your post University experience.I dont know how far this helps in India. Here in North America, your volunteering experience counts a lot. A resume without any volunteering by the candidate is not considered at all. In my case, I volunteered to work for a Professor in the Education Dept at Memorial University here two years back.I worked for him for two months without any payment. At the end of my volunteering period, he gave me very nice reference, which helped me quite a lot in my job search.
These are the things I wanted to share with you that you can consider doing with your University experience. Anyway, the choice is yours. It will be different for different individuals. I got married just 10 days after I completed my University course! That was my Post University Experience! Isnt that funny?
