Although I’ve never visited the place, so cannot say anything about the ambiance or cleanliness, but our home delivery experience has been bad. The delivery took more than an hour though our order was very less and most other restaurants on Bannerghatta road would have delivered it in around 30 mins. This place is less than a Km from my place and that much delay is not acceptable to me. This has happened even earlier and now I saw that one other reviewer had the same problem.
Plus I also discovered that their starters(or appetizers) are really BAD. First of all they have very limited options (the manager gave a funny reason for the same - As they are a ’family’ restaurant and do not serve drinks, they have limited starter options. Not sure how many of you will buy that; I do not !!). So we ordered for a vegetable manchurian and a paneer manchurian; the veg Manchurian was nicely Burnt and had to throw most of it. The paneers were so old (or I am not sure why) and so HARD that we actually needed knives to cut them into smaller pieces. The problem I guess with some of these restaurants is that they buy those cheap frozen paneers which get worse when cooked.
Anyway, that was my recent experience with Potluck; so no more ordering from them; or atleast no more starters. The main course is just fine; considering that they have very small quantities suitable for bachelors(or single meals) we can keep it as a last option.
