5 teenagers discover the ranger power coins deep within a mine. The power of these coloured coins transforms them from outcast to superheroes overnight.

The young warriors are assigned the task of saving mankind by defending earth zeo crystal from a former green ranger gone rogue Rita Repulsa and her gold giant Goldar.
Mentoring the colour coded rangers are former red ranger Zirdan and Alpha -5, the reboot.
