I happened to take my mother for the cataract surgery with Dr. Praveen (PRM) at this place.
Reception: Once you get in for the doctors visit, the people at reception obtain your details to fill online. They charge INR 300 for the consultation valid for a month.
Billing: single counter which sometimes get queued up. They accept cash/card.
Consultation: Normally before getting into doctors cabin, they apply drops for dilation for few cases which itself takes 30~45 minutes. Again, one of the assistants/staff would check the eye sight and make the entry online.only then you would be seeing the doctor.
In our case, my mother got all of these done in 30 minutes on the first visit and then we were called in. After doing the tests, the doctor suggested get her eyes operated for the cataract and led us to their counselors.
Their counselor was sufficiently knowledgeable about the surgery and the lens types and then helped us to make the right choice and the dates for the surgery.
On the day of the surgery, we were asked to come around 6.30 am wherein the staff itself was available at 6.45 am!! Then, there were some preparations before the surgery and the surgery was done within 20 minutes without any hassles. It was the same experience for both the eyes. The follow-up visits were scheduled very soon after the surgery. I’ve no comments on the pricing of the surgery as it we covered by the insurance and we were offered the standard package.
Overall, it was a nice experience and they certainly have lot of opportunity to improve on time management.
